About the role

TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Detroit, Michigan.

Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately.

Requirements

  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • At least one year of relevant clinical experience preferred.
  • Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including electronic medical records (EMR).

Skills

  • Skilled in assessing and treating musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Familiarity with common orthopedic and neurological disorders.
  • Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Benefits

Tax-free stipend to be determined based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).

Schedule

Shift: 10 hours, days.
