Travel Physical Therapist - $2,351 per week

About the Role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Franconia, New Hampshire. This is a 13-week travel assignment working 36 hours per week on day shifts (9-hour shifts). The position is in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting
• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• 1 year of experience required; 6 months may be accepted for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background
• New grads are encouraged to apply
• BLS certification required
• State-specific licensing required
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

Pay package is based on 9 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
