Travel Physical Therapist - $2,326 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week acute and outpatient contract role in Kings Mountain, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 67-bed acute care hospital and an outpatient physical therapy clinic within the same facility.
• Treat patients with a variety of conditions including orthopedic, neurological, vestibular, lymphedema, post-op, general debility, and women's health conditions.
• Provide care during 12-hour day shifts, with five 8-hour shifts per week and rotating weekends and holidays.
• Use Epic EMR system at the facility.
• Floating between two facility locations may be required.
• Occasional weekend rotations occur approximately once every 4–6 weeks for acute care assignments.
• Holiday coverage is required on a rotating basis unless pre-approved.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Physical Therapy experience within the unit specialty area.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Active state PT license required (license required if applicable).
• Acute care experience preferred.
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted.
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration.
• Minimum of 1 professional reference dated within the past year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN.

Qualifications

• Professional light gray scrubs are required.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shifts are 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with five 8-hour shifts per week and rotating weekends and holidays.
