About the role
TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a position in Pasadena, Maryland. This is a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week, working 8-hour shifts. The role requires 6 months of experience, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Oversee supervising Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), support staff (therapy technicians)
- Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
- Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
- Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
- Evaluate and create a plan of care
- Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
- Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines
Requirements
- BLS certification
- State-specific licensing
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
Qualifications
New graduates are encouraged to apply. No specific certifications are required before beginning an assignment.
Skills
Knowledge of adaptive equipment and ability to work in an acute care setting.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
