Physical Therapist Outpatient position in Highlands, North Carolina. This outpatient role focuses on providing comprehensive therapy services with an emphasis on patient treatment rather than evaluation. The position is based at a rehab-focused unit within a hospital that offers a modern rehab gym with outdoor therapy options.

Schedule

• Days shift, 8 hours per day
• Minimum of 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient therapy services focused on rehabilitation
• Treat patients with a rehab mindset (evaluation experience preferred but not required)
• Potential to float to a nearby healthcare center in the same building if needed

Requirements

• Valid state physical therapy license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Must be located within North Carolina
• Scrubs (any color) required as uniform

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient therapy
• Ability to evaluate and treat hospital-admitted patients with a rehab mindset

Work Environment

• Patient ratio: approximately one patient per hour
• Unit staffed with around 2 CNAs per shift and a rehab technician available 20 hours weekly
• Fully equipped rehab gym with new equipment and outdoor therapy options
