Travel Physical Therapist - $2,282 per week
National Staffing Solutions-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a contract position in Dekalb, Illinois.
About the role
We’re currently seeking a Physical Therapist to join a school-based team for the current and/or future school year. This is a full-time travel assignment lasting 42 weeks, with an anticipated start date as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Gather appropriate information from students, parents, and other team members regarding the child’s functional motor performance in school settings.
- Select, administer, and interpret a variety of screening instruments and standardized measurement tools.
- Collaborate with students’ IEP teams to examine and evaluate eligible students’ strengths and needs, establishing their ability to participate in meaningful school activities and routines with or without assistance.
- Design and implement physical therapy interventions that allow students to benefit from their educational program.
Requirements
- Graduate of Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
- One or more years of school-based experience.
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
Schedule
- 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
- 8-hour shifts.
- Employment type: Travel contract.
