About the role
Physical Therapist (PT) position in an outpatient rehabilitation clinic within Select Medical. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse outpatient caseload as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary therapy team.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver skilled physical therapy services to maximize functional outcomes
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercise programs
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge plans accurately and timely
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
- Supervise and mentor students as assigned
- Maintain compliance with state practice standards and clinic policies
- Participate in professional development and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of practice
- 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience
- CPR Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel assignment experience
- Previous Select Medical assignment experience
Schedule
- Day Shift, Monday – Friday
- 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
- 13-week contract
