About the role
AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting September 8, 2026, in Kealakekua, Hawaii.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in an acute inpatient setting.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines.
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Current license to practice physical therapy in Hawaii.
- Experience in acute inpatient settings preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
- ACSM Certified Personal Trainer certification (optional but preferred).
