Travel Physical Therapist - $2,246 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Shelbyville, Indiana. This position requires 40 hours per week on an 8-hour day shift and is classified as a travel role.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience, though exceptional candidates with 6 months of experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the respective setting, following facility guidelines.
• Understand and comply with the respective state PT board's rules and regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate patients to create and modify plans of care as needed.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks and provide timely, accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience (new graduates are encouraged to apply).
• BLS certification and state-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
