About the role
American Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Bradenton, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations and treatments in accordance with plan of care (PT)
- Utilize neuro and stroke protocols to enhance patient recovery
- Participate in team conferences and provide family training
- Apply critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills
- Work on IRF units
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a PT
- Active PT license
- BLS certification
- Willingness to work on IRF units
- Critical thinking/clinical reasoning skills
- Hospital/IRF experience and neuro/stroke experience preferred
Qualifications
- Qualified candidates must have a valid PT license
- Must hold a current BLS certification
- Willingness to work on IRF units
- Experience with neuro and stroke protocols
- Experience in hospital/IRF settings
- Experience with stroke patients
Skills
- Strong clinical skills

Pay
Pay range is discussed with the recruiter. A tax-free stipend amount will be determined.
Schedule
40 hours per week, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday - Friday)
