Travel Physical Therapist - $2,232 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Manahawkin, New Jersey, starting October 12, 2026. The position requires 40 hours per week on 8‑hour evening shifts with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, including direct patient care to evaluate medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, restrictions, and rehabilitation potential.
• Establish and administer treatment programs with specific goals based on patient capacity and tolerance under physician direction.
• Set realistic and achievable patient goals, document patient condition, and educate patients and families on appropriate physical therapy methods.
• Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet therapy goals.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy with successful passage of the NPTE.
• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Minimum one year of clinical experience.
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or actively in the application process for licensure in the state of assignment.
• Current CPR certification.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.
