Travel Physical Therapist - $2,227 per week

About the role

Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a traveling Physical Therapist where you’ll help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical condition and develop treatment plans
• Provide hands-on physical therapy to improve mobility and strength
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document patient progress and communicate with families and referring physicians

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC

Qualifications

• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Skilled in assessment and treatment of various physical conditions
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Location

Danbury, Connecticut offers access to both outdoor recreation and regional travel. Candlewood Lake is about 10 miles from central Danbury and offers boating, fishing, and waterfront parks for time off. Tarrywile Park and Mansion spans more than 700 acres within the city, and Ives Trail provides local hiking access with connections through greater Danbury. New York City is approximately 70 miles away by road, and the Danbury Railway Museum and downtown district provide local cultural attractions in a suburban setting.
