Travel Physical Therapist - $2,208 per week

About the role

Synergy Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting July 13, 2026, in Waterbury, Connecticut. The position is 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the state of Connecticut.
• At least one year of clinical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Pass the national certification exam.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
