Travel Physical Therapist - $2,186 per week
About the role
MediPro is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a position in Apple Valley, California.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in an acute care hospital setting.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and timely.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Current CPR certification (BLS).
- Valid California Physical Therapy license.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends as required.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Experience with various therapeutic techniques including but not limited to Acute Care, Home Exercise Programs, Lifting and Transfer, Patient Family Education, ER, Geriatrics, ICU, Medical Surgical, Orthopedics, AROM/AAROM/PROM, Assistive Devices, Body Mechanics, Pain Assessment, Skin Integrity, Strength Testing, Vital Signs, Discharge, Evaluation, Plan of Care, Reassessments, Short Term Goals, Call Lights, Crutches, Gait Belt, Hospital Bed, Standard Walker, Supplemental O2, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Myocardial Infarction (MI), Gait Training, Hip Fractures/Injuries, Knee Injuries/Tendinopathy, Total Hip Replacement, Total Knee Replacement, Post Stroke Rehabilitation.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physical therapy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (Epic).

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shift: 5X8; Tues-Sat 900am - 530pm
Locals
No locals accepted within a 50 mile radius.
RTO Restrictions
RTO must be included at the time of submission.
