Travel Physical Therapist - $2,180 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an assignment in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This is a 13-week travel position with a start date of 08/24/2026, requiring 40 hours per week on a 9-hour day shift.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, including evaluating medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and restrictions.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined by the patient’s capacity and tolerance under physician direction.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and record their condition, and educate patients and families on appropriate physical therapy methods.
• Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy with a passed NPTE.
• Graduation from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or actively in the application process for licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
