About the Role
ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract position in Pensacola, Florida.
Schedule
- Day shift, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday with weekend rotation
- 8-hour shifts
Responsibilities
- Evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with the patient's needs and physician direction
- Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for patients
- Ensure functional treatment programs designed for an effective return to community activities
- Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and oneself
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans focused on patient progress towards discharge
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address barriers to discharge
- Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions based on patient care needs
- Ensure care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals
- Maintain clear, concise, and timely medical record documentation
- Participate in the student program, providing a positive learning environment
- Actively pursue professional growth through education and involvement in professional activities
- Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure in good standing
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy
- Valid, current State license required
- BLS Certification required prior to the first shift
