Travel Physical Therapist - $2,152 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The position offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and is open to candidates with 6 months of experience or new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• BLS certification
• State-specific licensing
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have 6 months of experience; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply. No prior travel experience is necessary.

Skills

Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in using medical center computer systems are essential.

Benefits

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
