Travel Physical Therapist - $2,151 per week

About the role

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a contract position in Dumfries, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a PT setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in a hospital or outpatient setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Assess patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient care activities and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a PT setting.
• Valid Virginia License.
• Current BLS certification.
• Preferred 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current registration as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to physical therapy practice.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in computer software used in physical therapy practice.
