Travel Physical Therapist - $2,148 per week

Ardor Health Solutions is seeking an experienced Travel Physical Therapist for a unique hospital-based opportunity in rural Kauai, Hawaii. This position offers a diverse caseload across inpatient and outpatient settings, ideal for a PT who enjoys variety and working independently.

About the role

• 25% Inpatient / 75% Outpatient caseload
• Work across acute care, ICU, SNF, ER, Med/Surg, and hospital-based outpatient settings
• Outpatient schedule includes patients approximately every 30–45 minutes, with 1-hour new evaluations
• Approximately 5–15 patients per day, depending on the schedule
• Experience the natural beauty of rural Kauai while building diverse hospital experience

Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Provide care in acute care, ICU, Med/Surg, SNF, ER, and hospital-based outpatient environments
• Occasionally provide PT services in OB
• Progress patients from acute mobility through discharge planning and functional independence
• Treat a wide range of outpatient diagnoses with a thorough, individualized approach
• Complete comprehensive evaluations, treatment plans, and clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team

Requirements

• Hawaii PT license required (travelers should begin the licensing process ASAP)
• Strong inpatient and outpatient PT experience preferred
• Acute care/ICU experience preferred
• Ability to work independently in a rural hospital setting
• Strong clinical reasoning and discharge-planning skills
• Current BLS certification
