About the role
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Millbury, Massachusetts, starting 11/09/2026. The position is full‑time travel, 40 hours per week with 8‑hour shifts.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy with passing NPTE score
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Minimum one year of experience as a Physical Therapist
- Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or active application in process for Massachusetts licensure
- Current CPR certification
- Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility
Responsibilities
- Assess referred patients for rehabilitation needs, including direct patient care to evaluate medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, restrictions, and rehabilitation potential
- Establish and administer treatment programs with specific goals based on patient capacity and tolerance under physician direction
- Set realistic, achievable patient goals; document and record patient condition; educate patients and families on appropriate physical therapy methods
- Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient
- Provide skilled physical therapy interventions in accordance with physician orders
- Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet physical therapy goals
- Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient
