Travel Physical Therapist - $2,082 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate opening in Prescott, Arizona. Specialty: Physical Therapist; Discipline: Therapy; Duration: 13 weeks; Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts; Employment Type: Travel. The ideal candidate should have 1 year of experience, with consideration for exceptional candidates possessing 6 months of relevant background.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill services within the respective setting, following facility guidelines
• Understand and comply with the state PT board’s rules and regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify the plan of care as indicated based on patient condition
• Utilize Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience (new graduates encouraged to apply)
• Current BLS certification
• Valid state‑specific Physical Therapist license
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment (see Qualifications)

Qualifications

• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience (as noted in the posting’s qualifications note)
• Any additional certifications required by the facility or state

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
