Travel Physical Therapist - $2,071 per week
About the role
This position is for a Physical Therapist dedicated to providing quality care in a dynamic and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation.
Patient Load: Approximately 8-12 patients treated daily. Types of Patients: Primarily orthopedic cases, including post-operative rehabilitation, pain management, neurological conditions, and sports-related injuries. Environment: Mostly outpatient orthopedic services with some inpatient acute care; includes a warm water therapy pool.
Team Structure: Supervisors: Managed by an OTR supervisor and a lead Physical Therapist. Support Staff: Composed of three Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs).
Additional Information: New hires must be available for orientation during the first week. Clinicians should reside within a 60-mile radius and have a driver's license for verification purposes. Dress Code: Scrubs or business casual attire is acceptable.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer therapeutic treatments and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document patient interactions and progress in accordance with facility guidelines.
- Participate in patient education and support initiatives.
