Travel Physical Therapist - $2,054 per week

Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 14-week assignment in Greenwood, Indiana.

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred
• Physical Therapy experience preferred, but new graduates welcome

Essential Work Functions

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques
• Achieve patient progress through regular assessments and adjustments to treatment plans
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Provide education on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and self-management techniques
• Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards
• Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions and continued patient progress

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
• The ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficient in PC skills
• Ability to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
• Interpersonal skills to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
• Technical/motor skills to operate specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities safely and effectively
