American Traveler is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient setting in El Paso, Texas. The assignment begins on October 5 2026, lasts 13 weeks, and is a full‑time, 40‑hour‑per‑week position with one opening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct PT evaluations, reassessments, and treatments for inpatient rehabilitation patients.
• Participate in team conferences, provide family training, and perform home assessments.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team and physicians.
• Follow unit guidelines and policies, including AIDET and ICARE protocols.
• Adhere to dress‑code requirements (Navy scrub color, no crocs, no visible tattoos or facial hair that interfere with N95 mask fit).

Requirements

• Active Texas Physical Therapist license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience, with inpatient rehabilitation experience required.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) skills preferred due to high Hispanic patient population.
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration.
• No employment gaps of 90 + days within the past 12 months.

Schedule

• Days, 5 × 8‑hour shifts (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
• Day and weekend coverage as needed.
• Patient ratios: 5‑6 patient‑care hours in rehab, 12‑15 patients in acute care, 6‑7 patients in outpatient.
• Unit staffed with 2 full‑time PTs and 2 PTAs on the day shift.

Pay
