Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a mixed outpatient and inpatient setting within a Critical Access Hospital. The therapist will provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients across a variety of diagnoses while working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team.
Schedule
- Start Date: 08/24/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 30 hours per week, 10-hour shifts during the day
- Work Days: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
- Weekend Requirement: Every Saturday
- On-Call Requirement: None
- Positions Available: 1
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of current Physical Therapy experience
- Outpatient experience required
- Inpatient experience highly preferred
- No new graduates
- Active New Hampshire PT License
- Active AHA BLS Certification
- All licenses and certifications must be current at the time of submission
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide outpatient rehabilitation services
- Treat patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and recovery strategies
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in acute care settings
- Strong orthopedic and functional rehabilitation skills
- Ability to manage a diverse patient population independently
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
