Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a mixed outpatient and inpatient setting within a Critical Access Hospital. The therapist will provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients across a variety of diagnoses while working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team.

Schedule

  • Start Date: 08/24/2026
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • 30 hours per week, 10-hour shifts during the day
  • Work Days: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
  • Weekend Requirement: Every Saturday
  • On-Call Requirement: None
  • Positions Available: 1

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of current Physical Therapy experience
  • Outpatient experience required
  • Inpatient experience highly preferred
  • No new graduates
  • Active New Hampshire PT License
  • Active AHA BLS Certification
  • All licenses and certifications must be current at the time of submission

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide outpatient rehabilitation services
  • Treat patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and recovery strategies
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in acute care settings
  • Strong orthopedic and functional rehabilitation skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse patient population independently
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills

  • Housing should be researched and secured prior to submission
  • Facility is located in a rural area; candidates should be prepared for limited housing availability
  • Compact license accepted where applicable
