The ideal candidate will work in an outpatient orthopedic setting, providing rehabilitative care to patients with various diagnoses, including post-joint surgeries, pain management, back issues, post-fall recovery, neurological conditions, and some sports-related injuries. Location This position is available in the surrounding area of St. Elizabeth, CO. Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients. Perform therapeutic interventions to improve patients' physical function and mobility. Document patient progress and treatment outcomes using the EPIC charting system. Collaborate with a team of rehabilitation aides and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and rehabilitation processes. Qualifications Current Physical Therapy license in Colorado. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Experience in a similar setting preferred, but training will be provided for new hires. Work Schedule This position offers a flexible schedule with shifts available as 10-hour days from Monday to Thursday from 8 AM to 6 PM. Weekend shifts may be required on an occasional basis, but no holiday work is expected. Additional Information The department will provide specific orientation for the first week of employment, and all clinicians are expected to be present for the entirety of the orientation week, regardless of any remote training modules. Team Structure You will be working under the supervision of the PT Manager/Supervisor and lead with support from Rehabilitation Aides and Physical Therapy Assistants. Patient Interaction The average caseload consists of treating approximately 8-12 patients per day, focusing mainly on outpatient orthopedic care, with some exposure to acute inpatient and acute rehab settings. Facility Features The facility is equipped with a warm water therapy pool, enhancing rehabilitation options for patients requiring aquatic therapy.
