Travel Physical Therapist - $1,979 per week
About the role
TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Anchorage, Alaska.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Current license to practice physical therapy in the state of Alaska.
- At least one year of recent relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Skills
- Skilled in assessing and treating musculoskeletal conditions.
- Experience working with patients who have had orthopedic surgeries.
- Familiarity with assistive devices and equipment.
- Knowledge of patient safety protocols and infection control practices.
Benefits
Tax-free stipend to be determined based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week.
