Travel Physical Therapist - $1,966 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel contract in an acute care setting, treating patients across outpatient, acute inpatient, and swing bed skilled units.

Responsibilities

• Treatment across outpatient, acute inpatient, and swing bed skilled settings
• Perform charting using MatrixCare/Matrix EMR
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; 9-hour shifts
• No weekend or holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience preferred; new graduates may be considered as training is provided
• Active PT license required if applicable; pending licenses are not accepted
• Current BLS certification required; pending certifications are not accepted
• Driver’s license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Qualifications

• Professional casual attire required
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit or affiliated facility within the past year are not eligible
• Candidates who worked PRN through outside firms will be considered

Pay

Pay package is based on 9 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
