Travel Physical Therapist - $1,959 per week

About the role

Start date: 10/26/2026. Assignment duration: 13‑week contract (initial posting notes 7 weeks). Location: Winchester, VA. Employment type: Travel. Shift: 8‑hour day shift. Hours: 40 hours per week (36 hours guaranteed with the expectation of working up to 40 hours). Position: Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a productivity expectation of 60 visits per week.
• Manage a caseload of 12‑14 patients per day, with double‑booking of follow‑up visits expected.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Float to other clinics as needed.

Requirements

• Current PT license in the state of Virginia.
• Outpatient experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.
• No PTA candidates will be accepted for this role.

Schedule

8‑hour day shift. 36 hours guaranteed with the expectation of working up to 40 hours per week. Overtime must be approved by the director before any hours are worked.

Pay

Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
