About the role
LRS Healthcare - Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 17, 2026, in Elkton, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Care for patients in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Assess patient needs and progress regularly
- Document patient care activities accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Requirements
- Current licensure to practice physical therapy in the state of Maryland
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Skills
- Proficient in using electronic health records (EHRs)
- Knowledgeable in evidence-based practice
- Skilled in manual therapy techniques
- Ability to adapt to various patient populations

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
