Travel Physical Therapist - $1,951 per week
About the Role
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in an acute care hospital setting in West Jordan, Utah. The role requires 1+ years of experience and BLS certification.
Shift: Days, Monday through Friday 0800-1730, with one weekend per month. 9-hour shifts, 36 hours per week. Uses Epic EMR.
Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility and be in-state for orientation week, even if initial modules are completed remotely.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic interventions such as ADL retraining, patient education in home safety, adaptive equipment, and compensation techniques
- Develop and implement therapeutic exercise programs, manual therapy, aquatic therapy, and neuromuscular re-education
- Participate in professional responsibilities including documentation, program development, teaching, and enhancement of clinical skills
- Provide care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other physically-related disorders
- Float to other areas or sites as needed
- Work standard and flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and after hours
- Care provided under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist
- BLS certification required
- Physical Therapist license required from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
- Dry Needling Certification required only if performing dry needling functions
- Previous direct patient care experience in outpatient, inpatient, or inpatient rehab settings preferred
- Prior EMR experience preferred
- Driver’s license copy required for consideration

Pay
Pay package is based on 9-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
