Travel Physical Therapist - $1,920 per week

About the role

Seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join the Wesley Rehabilitation Center team with responsibilities including comprehensive patient evaluation and treatment, focusing on gait training, neuromuscular reeducation, and caregiver training.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Carry out daily therapy sessions, including gait training and neuromuscular reeducation.
• Provide caregiver training and support.
• Track time and charges to ensure required therapy time for each patient.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months current acute care PT experience.
• BLS certification.
• PREFERRED: Experience in Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Setting.
• PREFERRED: Neuro certification/experience.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the state of Kansas.
• Passionate about patient-centered care and rehabilitation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Proficient in gait training techniques.
• Experience with neuromuscular reeducation.
• Ability to train caregivers effectively.
