Travel Physical Therapist - $1,918 per week

About the role

The Outpatient Physical Therapist at ARMStaffing will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. This role is responsible for delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective return to community activities. The therapist will serve as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and self, while also performing other professional duties related to patient care and the development of therapy services.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop treatment plans focused on progressing patients towards successful discharge.
• Maintain clear, concise, accurate, and timely medical record documentation in accordance with established guidelines.
• Ensure care is delivered under signed, valid physician orders and within necessary insurance approvals.
• Participate in student programs, providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing evaluations.
• Create an individualized professional development plan and pursue ongoing professional growth through education and involvement in professional activities.
• Adhere to state practice acts and professional codes of conduct.
• Understand and follow organizational performance improvement methodologies.
• Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to safety policies and procedures and reporting potential hazards.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR certification.

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position. Shift hours are 5 days a week, 8 hours each day.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
