Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and reassessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
- Treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, cardiac, and medically complex conditions.
- Provide gait training, balance training, transfer training, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, case managers, and the interdisciplinary rehab team.
- Assist with discharge planning and patient/caregiver education.
- Complete timely documentation and progress reporting.
Requirements
- Tennessee PT License Required
- BLS Required
- Acute care or hospital experience preferred
