Travel Physical Therapist - $1,879 per week

About the role

Bluebird Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting July 26, 2026, in Gainesville, Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to outpatient orthopedic patients
• Float to other clinics as needed
• Work up to 40 hours per week, 10 hours per day
• See 12-14 patients per day with double-booking of follow-up visits expected
• Meet productivity expectation of 60 visits per week
• Work up to 48-hour work weeks with potential for double OT
• Expect 36 hours of guaranteed work each week
• Must be approved by the director before working OT hours
• May work in one clinic or a neighboring clinic as part of a travel team

Requirements

• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Georgia
• Outpatient experience preferred
• PTA experience may be considered
• No new grads
• No off-shore recruiters
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
• Current CPR certification

Skills

• Strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems

Pay

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, 13 weeks duration.
