About the role
This is a 13-week contract position for an Outpatient Physical Therapist. The therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans according to the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. Responsibilities include delegating and directing discipline-specific therapy services, designing functional treatment programs, and facilitating effective returns to community activities. The role also involves educating patients, families, students, coworkers, and maintaining professional development.
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
- Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
- Document all medical records in a clear and timely manner.
- Participate in student program as assigned.
- Create and pursue an individualized professional development plan.
- Maintain professional licensure in good standing.
- Understand and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
- 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience.
- CPR Certification.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
Schedule
Shift: 5x8.0 (flexible 12-hour shifts).
