Travel Physical Therapist - $1,875 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel job in Peru, Indiana. The position offers 35 hours per week, 7-hour shifts, and is open to candidates with 6 months of experience or new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs), support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• BLS certification
• State-specific licensing
• Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience; new graduates encouraged to apply
