Travel Physical Therapist - $1,863 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Loris, South Carolina. This is a travel position with a schedule of 8-hour day shifts, totaling 32 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following facility guidelines
• Understand and comply with the respective PT board's rules and regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate patients and create a plan of care
• Modify the plan of care as indicated based on the patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in the performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply
• BLS certification
• State-specific PT licensing
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, as well as bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
