About the role

A travel Physical Therapist is needed for a 13-week assignment starting September 14, 2026, in Hilo, Hawaii. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and a tax-free stipend.

Responsibilities

• Assessing the patient’s health history
• Diagnosing functional and movement issues
• Developing and implementing a specialized plan of care

Requirements

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the state of Hawaii
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of clinical experience preferred
• Experience working with patients who have had surgery or chronic conditions

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of therapeutic modalities and techniques

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend to be determined.

Schedule
