About the role
Travel Physical Therapist responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing patient care plans in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise PTAs and support staff
- Bill within facility guidelines
- Ensure compliance with state PT board regulations
- Collaborate with medical personnel to create and modify care plans
- Evaluate adaptive equipment needs
- Utilize electronic medical records
- Provide accurate documentation per guidelines
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of experience (1 year preferred)
- BLS certification
- State licensure
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
New graduates are encouraged to apply, and additional certifications may be required prior to assignment.
Schedule
The role involves working 8‑hour days, 40 hours per week, with a focus on team collaboration and patient care excellence.
