Travel Physical Therapist - $1,837 per week

About the role

Travel Physical Therapist position in Irmo, South Carolina for a 13‑week assignment, working 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts. Immediate opening for a licensed PT.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following facility guidelines
• Understand and comply with the state PT board’s rules and regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient’s condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of PT experience; 1 year preferred (new graduates encouraged)
• Current BLS certification
• Valid state‑specific Physical Therapist license
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment
