Travel Physical Therapist - $1,832 per week
About the Role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an assignment in Independence, Missouri. This is an immediate travel opening with the following details:
- Start Date: 09/28/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts
- Employment Type: Travel
The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience; however, 6 months of experience may be accepted for exceptional candidates with an appropriate background.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.
- Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
- Bill within the respective setting, following facility guidelines.
- Understand and comply with the respective PT board's rules and regulations for the state.
- Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
- Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate/modify plans of care as indicated by the patient's condition.
- Use Medical Center computer systems to perform daily tasks.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of experience (new graduates are encouraged to apply).
- BLS certification and state-specific licensing.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
