About the role

This is a 13-week travel contract position for an Outpatient Physical Therapist in Saco, Maine. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and modifying treatment plans, and operating within safety and compliance guidelines.

Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts, flexible
• Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 8 AM - 5 PM
• Tuesday and Thursday: 9 AM - 6 PM
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to progress patients toward discharge.
• Document care accurately and in a timely manner following clinic policies and procedures.
• Delegate and direct therapy services, designing functional treatment programs.
• Serve as an educator for patients, families, and peers.
• Participate in the student program as required, guiding and evaluating students.
• Engage in continuous professional development and maintain licensure.
• Follow performance improvement methodologies to enhance service quality.
• Ensure patient and employee safety while adhering to professional conduct and compliance guidelines.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active Physical Therapist license for the state where work will be performed.
