About the role
This is a 13-week travel contract position for an Outpatient Physical Therapist in Saco, Maine. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and modifying treatment plans, and operating within safety and compliance guidelines.
Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts, flexible
- Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 8 AM - 5 PM
- Tuesday and Thursday: 9 AM - 6 PM
- Start Date: 09/21/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to progress patients toward discharge.
- Document care accurately and in a timely manner following clinic policies and procedures.
- Delegate and direct therapy services, designing functional treatment programs.
- Serve as an educator for patients, families, and peers.
- Participate in the student program as required, guiding and evaluating students.
- Engage in continuous professional development and maintain licensure.
- Follow performance improvement methodologies to enhance service quality.
- Ensure patient and employee safety while adhering to professional conduct and compliance guidelines.
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Active Physical Therapist license for the state where work will be performed.
