Travel Physical Therapist - $1,829 per week

About the role

The Outpatient Physical Therapist at ARMStaffing evaluates assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role is responsible for delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients. The therapist ensures the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate an effective return to community activities and serves as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals focused on progressing patients toward discharge.
• Document medical records accurately, clearly, and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Participate in the student program by providing a supportive learning environment for students.
• Actively create and pursue a professional development plan with clinical management.
• Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Understand and apply the organization's performance improvement methodology to enhance service quality.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR certification.

Pay & Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a 5x8.0 schedule. The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
