Travel Physical Therapist - $1,800 per week
About the Role
Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week Acute Care assignment at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital in Margate, Florida. This opportunity is ideal for therapists who enjoy working with medically complex patients in a fast-paced hospital environment, collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and case managers.
- 13-week travel contract
- 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts
- Adult patient population in an acute care hospital setting
- Collaborative multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive PT evaluations and reassessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals
- Treat orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, trauma, and medically complex patients
- Provide gait training, balance training, transfer training, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Complete timely documentation and patient progress reporting
- Assist with discharge planning and patient/caregiver education
Requirements
- Florida PT License required
- BLS certification required
- Acute care experience preferred
