Responsibilities
- Help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions
- Document patient progress using Meditech
- Provide inpatient and outpatient physical therapy services
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
- Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
- BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARCPT
- Experience with inpatient and outpatient physical therapy
- Experience with Meditech documentation system
Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy preferred

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shift hours: 0800-1630
Coverage is primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend day support requested

Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park is about 35 miles away and is known for hiking, stargazing, and Florida dry prairie habitat.
Downtown Okeechobee includes local dining and shops, and the area offers a quieter small-town setting within driving distance of both the Atlantic and Gulf coasts.
The community supports an outdoor lifestyle with boating and fishing nearby, and U.S. Route 441 provides regional access through central Florida.
