About the role

This is a 13-week contract position for an Outpatient Physical Therapist. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 5x8.0 shift.

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans according to the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes delegating and directing therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate return to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans and goals aimed at progressing patients toward discharge.
• Document all aspects of care in a timely and compliant manner, ensuring adherence to established guidelines.
• Participate in student programs, providing supervision and feedback to foster a positive learning environment.
• Create and pursue a professional development plan, actively engaging in continuing education and professional activities.
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to state practice acts and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of services provided.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active physical therapist licensure in good standing.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
