Travel Physical Therapist - $1,405 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a position in Pensacola, Florida. The role involves overseeing supervising PTAs, supporting staff, billing, evaluating patients, creating and modifying a plan of care, and documenting accurately.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for various patient populations in an acute care setting
• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient’s condition
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• 6 months of experience; new grads are encouraged to apply
• BLS certification
• State-specific licensing
• A sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology

Qualifications

• BLS, ABPTS, 2 Years
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

Skills

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology
