Travel Phlebotomist (Temporary)

About the role

The Travel Sprinter provides essential preventative and diagnostic healthcare services, such as blood draws, vitals, and wellness support, across various markets. This position requires independent travel, adaptability, and delivering high-quality patient care in diverse home settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for daily schedules, ensuring all supplies and PPE are ready.
• Travel to patients' homes, providing scheduled clinical services.
• Perform blood draws with expertise, ensuring patient comfort.
• Create a welcoming, professional environment during home visits.
• Accurately document visits via digital tools and handle specimens properly.
• Navigate unfamiliar areas independently, managing time and supplies efficiently.

Qualifications

• Exceptional phlebotomy skills, including challenging sticks.
• Experience in patient-facing healthcare roles, with in-home care preferred.
• Current BLS certification, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.

Skills

• Proficiency with Apple devices and digital health platforms.
• Strong communication, empathy, and adaptability in diverse environments.
• Comfort with travel, extended periods away from home, and navigating unfamiliar neighborhoods.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., perform physical tasks, and spend extended time driving or on foot in various home environments.
• Must meet applicable licensing or certification standards and be comfortable using technology for documentation and communication.
