Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with inventory, medication preparation (including IV and non-sterile compounds), and record keeping.
- Prepare sterile and non-sterile drug products following USP guidelines, utilizing closed system transfer devices to minimize hazard exposure.
- Maintain department hardware and software, electronically process prescriptions, manage third-party claims, and support call center, mail order, prior authorizations, and deposits.
- Adhere to investigational protocols and maintain accurate records.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with at least 2 years' experience
- Active BLS certification
- Proficiency in IV chemotherapy compounding
- Own vehicle
